There are many different types of animals lurking in the layers of the rainforest. In order to know them, you will divide yourselves in PAIRS, click on the link provided, read and discuss some of these unique creatures! LINK: Rainforest Animal facts
Once you have read through and discussed the facts in pairs, you are to choose one animal and present a “DAY IN THE LIFE OF…” This task will be all about you working with a partner to imagine you have transformed into an animal in the rainforest and depict a day in its life. For example you may detail how you feel, how you hunt or are being hunted and generally what you believe your particular animal encounters in its day. This task can be presented through the creation of a report, description, timeline, picture timeline, poem, myth, speech or role play (to be presented in class). Don't forget to use your imagination and have fun!!!
